Case Study: Meraki Deployment for Serviced Office

Who the customer is

Arcc Spaces is a premium flexible workspace and coworking operator headquartered in Singapore. The Bank of Singapore Centre (BOS) flagship site is their newest and largest flagship workspace spanning 25,782 square feet across levels 5, 6, and 7.

What we built

We deployed a full stack Cisco Meraki network across three floors of the Bank of Singapore building, covering firewall, switches and access points.

The problem

Arcc Spaces needed easy network access for its members and guests, segregation and isolation for each of its suites, and a unified wireless experience across all floors.

The solution

Megatron Technology designed and deployed a full-stack Cisco Meraki network, managed from the cloud, with a Meraki MX security appliance at the core, Meraki MS switches on every floor and Cisco Wi-Fi 7 access points throughout the space. Each tenant suite is separated from the others by its own network segment, with firewall rules at the gateway that stop traffic moving between suites while still giving every tenant its own internet access and shared services such as printing. Members, staff, guests and devices each connect through their own wireless network, and the newer networks use WPA3 security with Wi-Fi 7. Guest access uses an encrypted open network, so visitors connect without a shared password. Dual internet links keep the building online if one provider has a problem. All the equipment was ordered against the opening date, and we quoted lead times item by item so the network was ready for opening day.
