Why is the list price not what you actually pay?
Cisco publishes list prices to partners. A real quote often starts from list and applies the Cisco programmes that apply to your deal. Examples are current promotions, deal registration, multi-year terms and education or government programmes where you qualify. Not every programme applies to every deal.
Thus, a web listing at a fixed discount can cost more than a full partner quote. It can also leave out the licence or the support term.
